My life is full of joy and light - for many years, I was a journalist, I am the author of three books and I am currently in the process of completing my most recent one on addiction - a family disease. I have a bachelors in International Communication (which led me to running my own communication agency) and a masters in The Arts from UNESCO. I have also been a part of one of the the state ministries. I am a mother to four hearts.

However, I have also experienced pain, helplessness, anxiety, shame and guilt. My charming, intelligent and inspirational mother died of addiction. I can confidently say that I know what you are feeling, what you are going through and what is going to happen to you if you reach out for help, and what will happen if you do not. I am constantly participating in conferences and seminars about the science of addiction, as well as professional discussions with other colleagues in the field. Everyday, I see crying children, babies lost to addiction, and my young friends dying as a result of this disease.

However, something I also see everyday is people feeling like they’ve been reborn, finally getting the feeling of being able to over come this, and getting back to their true selves. There is such a thing as “forming a new identity”, I see and experience it all the time. With that being said, I encourage you to come and let me help you find your unique way to a safe and respectful recovery.
